The Louise Lynch Memorial Bursary 2021

In January 2019, we lost a dear friend, clubmate, and inspirational figure in Louise “Lilo” Lynch.
Lilo was the epitome of her mantra “Live Life, Love Life”. She gave 100% to everything she was involved with; her family, her career and her club. Lilo believed if something was worth doing, it was worth doing right.
She was a warrior, our warrior, on and off the pitch and this was exemplified by her illustrious career with Club (first with Marino and then St. Vincents) and county in both Camogie and Ladies Football. Having finished playing Senior ‘A’ Camogie with the Club, Louise continued to be an integral member of St Vincents squads, playing Senior B, and Intermediate where her teammates benefitted from her immense experience.  She was always happy to help with the coaching of our younger members and this ongoing contact with Camogie in the Club was a source of great joy to Louise and to those she coached.

A woman of indomitable spirit, we were looking for an apt way to honour her memory.

And so began the Louise Lynch Memorial Bursary
