Here’s some downloads that may be of use to mentors.

Any mentor who manages underage teams should be familiar with the GAA’s Code of Behaviour. A full copy can be downloaded here: GAA Code of Behaviour (Underage)

If a visiting team is playing on PNU2, we recommend that you let them know in advance they will be playing on a synthetic surface. There’s also a useful flyer you can send on to them to advise them of the acceptable footwear.

The GAA have issued social media policy and guidelines. This is appropriate for all mentors who manage a social media account for a team, or if they communicate with team members using messaging apps such as WhatsApp. This can be found here

Nutrition Talk

On Saturday, 23 April 2022, Senior Footballer Dr Brendan Egan gave a talk to juvenile players and parents on the importance of Nutrition.  Dr Egan is Associate Professor of Sport and Exercise Physiology, and Deputy Head of School, in the School of Health and Human Performance at Dublin City University.  A recording of the talk can be viewed here
