We are a Club known for our excellence in tradition, culture and achievement. Our clubhouse, 40 years old now, was built by our predecessors with passion and foresight, and to the highest of standards at the time!
Now, 40 years on, we need to begin to transform our clubhouse and ground to reflect ourselves, our community, our ambition and our vision in the modern day.
So, the time has come when we need everyone to pull together, to collectively transform our future - for our members, for our children and for the generations to come! This is the purpose of our Iconic Camino Fundraising Event!
To transform St. Vincent's GAA Club into a modern day, platform of exellence for all, driving our years of tradition, achievement and legacy directly into the core of our future.
Our goals are ambitious so, we need all hands on deck here people - We need every member to get behind it, to raise the funds required to make it happen!
Thisis going to be a Club day like no other - It is not to be missed - You dont want to find yourself hearing stories about it for years to come, wishing you had been there!!
Our Plans:
Our plan is to raise enough money to transform our Club house and grounds for all our members - creating state of the art, inclusive, accessible facilites which will enhance our development, our training /match day experience and performance, whilst also enrinching our experience of connection, community and togetherness - our culture!
1 - Our Dressing Rooms -To build 2 new large state of the art Adult Dressing Rooms with en-suite showers and toilet facilities, where adult players will have the space and place they need to best prepare on game day.
See draft plans below. This development will create a ideal additional space at first floor level for the creation of a new larger adult gym space.
2 - Our Hall - To develop our current Hall into an indoor centre for training, learning, development and coaching. We plan to improve the lighting and to lay a high quality interior astro turf surface to create a space where teams can warm-up before matches and juvenile teams can train and develop their skills. Where coaching courses can become fully experiential and support and enhance the coaching of our members and mentors. See draft plans below.
3- Our Coffee Shop - We have obtained planning permission for a new Coffee Shop at the front of house. This will become a central hub for our community - the heartbeat of our clubhouse. Whether waiting on the kids to finish a game, gathering as a team after a match or just enjoying a coffee in a welcoming community - This Coffee Shop is for everyone!
4 - Our Kids - We plan to create a new Sensory Room off the Hall for any of our much younger members who might be having a bad day or hour. This will be a most welcome additional facility in particular for our All Stars, and our VINOGAA and mini leagues participants. With the development of the new dressing rooms and gym space for the adults, the juveniles will be able to benefit from increased usage of the current dressing rooms, with the older juveniles benefiting in time from the existing adult gym - a space for them to meet and enjoy as part of their game preparation, ongoing development and growth as teams and individuals.
We hope that as our children grow into our next generation adults, they have all they need within our club to fully best develop and thrive for years to come.
5 - Our Community -It's not just about the building though, it's about belonging. It's not just about our sport, it's about connection and it's not just about our players, it's about our community! This is why we've chosen a fundraiser with the focus of bringing as many of our adults as possible together as we endeavour to raise the funds we need.
We are in a privaledged position right now where we have the vision, we have the plans, we have the community and we have the ambition to pull this off! We now just need the funds!
This plan is about every member and for every member
So, we need every one of our members to step up together
to make it happen!
