A few words from the Chairman

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Club I would like to wish all of our members and friends a very Happy Christmas and a joyous and rewarding 2017.

This time of year can also be a difficult one for families who have lost loved ones and our thoughts and prayers are with all of our members, friends and families who have felt the pain of loss. We hope that St Vincents will be a source of comfort and support to you.

2016 was a very successful year on the pitch with a number of our adult teams in camogie, hurling and football winning County championships. We strive for excellence in everything we do. Our juvenile teams continue to develop and excel and we look forward to their continued development as players and young men and women.

Our players could not flourish without the tireless work and effort of all of our volunteers. On behalf of the Executive and, I’m sure, all of our members, I would like to say a sincere thank you.

2017 promises to be an exciting year. I know our coaches are all already planning the playing year. We are looking forward to our exciting pitch development. We will also be in a position in the next few days to announce arrangements in relation to our Club gear.

We are very grateful to Veolia for their support over the past number of years and we are also looking forward to an exciting new partnership with Bank of Ireland beginning in January.

Here’s to Christmas 2016 and to seeing you in Páirc Naomh Uinsionn and the parks and pitches of Dublin and beyond in 2017.

Nollaig faoi shéan agus faoi mhaise daoibh go léir.

Conor Dignam
Chairman
